George Mason University’s Division of Instructional Technology
(DoIT) and Support Services Instructional Resource Center provides
an Instructional
Resource Finder built to hold how-to guides and teaching and technology
guides in multimedia formats. They consider these tools as learning
or instructional objects for users to easily search through and learn
about various categories from scanning
to teaching
with technology.
The future plans are to integrate structure knowledge bases for
assignments and research articles on teaching and learning with
technology. They have recently taken up an offer from Corel
to test some of their products to build an in-house content management
system.
