Tenure-track Faculty Position

Rochester Institute of Technology’s department of Interactive Games and Media (IGM) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. IGM has three degree programs, a B.Sc. in Game Design and Development, an M.Sc. in Game Design and Development and a B.Sc. in New Media Interactive Development, and the department is internationally recognized as a leader in these degree areas.

We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching and scholarship in one or more of the following areas:

• 2D and 3D Animation
• Rich Internet Application Development
• Game Programming and Design

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required: A Ph.D. degree in computing or a terminal degree (such as an MFA) in a related field is required, as is a record of publicly disseminated scholarly and/or creative work and demonstrated potential for future scholarship.
• Preferred: Experience in games or interactive media industry, and/or publicly disseminated work related to games or interactive media is preferred.
