Okay all you artsy/techy hybrids, this is your moment in the sun! As you may already know, we just released The NMC Horizon Report: 2011 K-12 Edition, detailing six technologies that are about to make a huge impact on education. What's so interesting to me is that some technologies have really transformed the way we communicate with each other. Take, for instance, mobiles and social media. From texting to tweeting and every -ing in between, we speak to each other much more concisely, and often with greater care on each individual word. When you only have 140 characters to say something important, do you really need that extra exclamation point?
