2010 NMC Summer Conference Photo Safari
Posted June 21st, 2010 by Alan LevineSorry, the flash media seems to not available.
As a followup to last year, at the 2010 NMC Summer Conference, we offered an immersive pre-conference workshop in digital photography. Led by Sports Illustrated staff photographer Bill Frakes and Don Henderson (Apple, INc), 20 participants learned valuable photography and storytelling techniques while exploring the wonderful world of Disneyland. For this special workshop, Disney has granted unprecedented access to the park and provided production assistants who will guide the group through the park, including a prime rooftop vantage point for the nighttime fireworks.
The following day, the workshop continued with a hands-on editing session in Aperture 3.0.
This video shows the best photos as selected by participants, and you can see more of their photos shared in flickr.

We have a lot of avid photographers at the NMC, and each year we assemble an impressive collection of photos shared on flickr by our conference attendees. Given the popularity of our pre conference photo workshop, the ever-increasingly ease of taking and publishing photos with our mobile devices, we expect to see even more photos this year.
To add your photos, just be sure to tag them nmc2010 when you post them to flickr, and watch action as more photos are added http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/nmc2010.

2010 Conference Preview
Posted June 29th, 2009 by Alan LevineAs the tradition goes, the last activity of the 2009 NMC Summer Conference was the showing of a video to promote the following year's conference. You can view their video on the Summer Conference web site set up by USC
Playing off of the pop culture themes of Southern California and the conference (the Disneyland® Hotel in Anahem), USC hosts Susan Metros and Holly Willis provided some compelling and fun reasons for conference attendees to look ahead to the 2010 NMC Summer Conference- see more at http://nmc2010.usc.edu/
