Every year, hundreds of educators, technologists, and learning enthusiasts gather to explore and discuss the integration of emerging technologies in teaching, learning, and creative inquiry at the NMC Summer Conference. For 2011, the NMC Community will be the honored guests of the University of Wisconsin – Madison at the beautiful Monona Terrace Convention Center on June 14-18.

Please note that student registration rates are only available to full-time students, who must call the NMC office for prior approval.

Registration Cancellations: Cancellations and refunds will only be accepted until May 10. After May 10, no refunds will be issued. You may send a substitution in your place for a $25 fee. Notifications must be sent to nancy@nmc.org

Conference registration rates include:  Participation in all conference sessions (excluding any Preconference Workshops), continental breakfast (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), afternoon breaks (Thursday, Friday), lunch (Friday), Wednesday Opening Reception and Corporate Partner Showcase, Thursday Dinner and evening with music and dancing with GLS, and a conference t-shirt.  Tickets to both the Wednesday Reception and Thursday Dinner, as well as the conference t-shirt that must be ordered in advance of the conference (cut-off dates will be noted on the registration form).

The 2006 NMC Summer Conference was held June 7-10, 2006, in Cleveland, Ohio. Hosts were Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

2005 NMC Summer Conference

The 2005 NMC Summer Conference was held June 15-18, 2005, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Digital Media Center at the University of Hawaii hosted the 2005 Summer Conference.

The beauty of Manoa Valley served as a backdrop for a unique yet inviting campus. University of Hawai‘i at Manoa has widely recognized strengths in tropical agriculture, tropical medicine, oceanography, astronomy, electrical engineering, volcanology, evolutionary biology, comparative philosophy, comparative religion, Hawaiian studies, Asian studies, Pacific Islands studies, and Asian and Pacific region public health. UH Manoa offers instruction in more languages than any U.S. institution outside the Department of State.

2004 NMC Summer Conference

The 2004 NMC Summer Conference was held June 16-19, 2004, in Vancouver, British Columbia. More than 450 people attended the event, with another 300 registered for the Summer Online Conference. The hosts of the conference were the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Sciences at the University of British Columbia.
