Session Description
This session proposal focuses on recent music technology research and its applications in the musical arts and sound design. The presenter will demonstrate some of the on-going and recent research topics with audio examples and concepts in the area of sound synthesis utilizing perceptual dimensions of sound—how composers and sound designers can better manipulate and synthesize sounds by modulating sonic characteristics towards an artistic idea that is perceptually relevant.
