The Digital Studio at Calvin College is a part of Calvin College's Information Technology Department, specifically residing within the Teaching & Learning (T&L) Team. The T&L Mission Statement reads:
- The Teaching & Learning Team collaborates with faculty, staff and students to proactively promote and facilitate the use of technology in the academic environment.
The staff of the Digital Studio seeks to significantly contribute to the T&L Mission Statement by:
- Providing consultation, instructional design, creative services, project management, training, technological and pedagogical inspiration, and research services
- Coming alongside faculty members to create a powerful teaching team that’s able to meet the rising bar/expectation level of our current (and future) students in terms of the course materials and technologies that they (will) use to master their disciplines.
