E-LEARNING AND LEARNING OBJECTS
There is no shortage of written work on learning objects. Literally
hundreds of articles and papers have been produced for print or
the web that focus on learning objects, learning object standards,
learning object repositories, learning object pedagogy, or the need
for a learning object economy. The three key papers summarized here
will acquaint the reader with each of these dimensions, and together
provide an excellent overview of the field. Each piece has proven
very influential in the development of the thought and practice
of learning objects, and each has been cited many times over. Links
at the end of each summary will take you to the full text of the
article.
