Policy & Digital Rights
national or institutional policies, rules, and practices
that encourage or inhibit the development of learning objects and
repositories
The documents and articles in this section may be useful in considering
national or institutional policies, rules, and practices that could
affect the development of learning objects and repositories. Considerable
information exists on copyright law and intellectual property rights,
as well as a good amount of literature on the implications of technology
for traditionally conceived authoring rights. Literature focusing
specifically on the policy implications of learning objects and
learning object development, however, has proved very hard to find.
