Biography
Tanya Joosten is a co-author of a chapter found in "Blended Learning: Research Perspectives" published by the Sloan-C, a recent article on teaching challenges in the EDUCAUSE Review, and an article on clicker technology effectiveness in the ECAR Bulletin. Most recently, her survey of students' use of Twitter was quoted in the The Chronicle of Higher Education's Wired Campus (http://chronicle.com/section/Technology/30/). Tanya has presented her work on managing implementations and evaluating educational technologies (Second Life, Clickers) as well as her work in blended and online teaching and learning at EDUCAUSE Annual, the Sloan-C International Symposium on Emerging Technologies in Online Learning, the Annual Distance Teaching and Learning Conference, the National Communication Association Annual Conference, and others.
